The Habitat has been universally
acclaimed for its outstanding performance and reliability in remote
applications.
|
- PRIVATE AND
PUBLIC CAMPGROUND OWNERS/OPERATORS
– provides comfortable, cost-effective overnight
accommodation for park guests. Many would-be campers can’t enjoy the
great outdoors due to the prohibitive cost of purchasing appropriate
camping equipment. Tourists and non traditional campers alike
can now enjoy the camping experience in relative luxury in a fully
outfitted Habitat shelter in select parks in North America.
In fact, Design Shelter has modified our standard design to specifically
accommodate a new line of “Parks Habitat” shelters. Full 6’
– 6” high (198 cm) vertical sidewalls, a full sized hinged and latched
door to accommodate wheelchairs and integral electrical wiring harness
and ruggedized dual bulb self contained fluorescent light sets have been added among other
things to make the camping experience as comfortable and enjoyable
as possible. Winterized versions are also popular for those
individuals interested in a comfortable winter camping experience.
- ECO-TOURISM
OPERATORS/OUTFITTERS –
provides guest accommodation for remote hiking trails, cross country
skiing, bird watching, ice fishing and wild game camps. People are
turning to eco-tourism operators around the world to escape the hustle
and bustle of the city. Camps made up of several Parks Habitat
models fill a need for comfortable and reliable shelter in remote
locations without going to the expense of setting up permanent cabins
and lodges. Camps can be easily set up and moved to other areas
to follow a herd of wild animals or to preferred fishing spots.
An easy to assemble camp that is simple and convenient to relocate
offers eco-tourism operators unprecedented convenience.
